Reminder of safeguarding against fraud
In view of recent fraud cases for unauthorized transactions and change of customer particulars without customer’s consent reported by HKMA, Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch would like to alert customer in case their HKID / passport are lost, it is advised to take the following measures:
Approach police and immigration immediately and report the case
Inform the Bank and update the latest personal details
Check the transaction records timely and make enquiry to the bank about suspicious transactions
If customers are concerned their HKID/passport are being fraud use, please call our customer service hotline at (852) 398 95559 or report to the Police directly.
