1.   What is Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service?

You can activate the cardless cash withdrawal function via BOCOM (HK) Mobile App. The service allows you to set up the cash withdrawal instruction on the mobile app, and then you can take out cash instantly without a physical ATM Card from any automatic teller machine (ATM) that supports “JETCO Cardless Withdrawal” service in Hong Kong or any one that supports “UnionPay QRC Withdrawal” service in Hong Kong, Macau or Mainland China by scanning the on-screen QR code.



2.   What are the benefits of Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service?

Fast, Convenient and Secure. You can set up the cash withdrawal instruction in advance via the BOCOM (HK) Mobile App and withdraw cash instantly from any ATM with “JETCO Cardless Cash Withdrawal” service in Hong Kong or any one that supports “UnionPay QRC Withdrawal” service in Hong Kong, Macau or Mainland China by scanning the on-screen QR code. It also reduces the risks of ATM Card lost and card skimming.



3.   Any fee for Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service?

No additional fee will be incurred for this service.



4.   What are the service hours of the Cardless Cash Withdrawal?

Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service is available during the opening hours of ATMs. However, we provide service maintenance to our Mobile Banking platform, and the service may be temporarily unavailable during these periods. Please refer to our system maintenance schedule.



5.   Which types of account have the Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service?

This service is available for retail banking accounts. However, these accounts must be bound to an ATM card.



6.   Can I use the Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service if I do not have an ATM card?

No. You can apply for an ATM card at our branches or through our BOCOM (HK) Mobile App. Please click here for the application details via our BOCOM (HK) Mobile App.



7.   How can I activate the Cardless Cash Withdrawal Services on my BOCOM (HK) Mobile App?

Select “Cardless Cash Withdrawal Setting” in the menu of BOCOM (HK) Mobile App. Then, you can enable the toggle button to activate the Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service for the selected ATM card. A SMS and an email notification will be sent to the registered mobile number and email address.



8.   Can I cancel the Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service after activation?

Yes. In the menu of BOCOM (HK) Mobile App, you can disable the toggle button to deactivate Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service in “Cardless Cash Withdrawal Setting”.



9.   How long is the Cardless Cash Withdrawal instruction valid for?

There is a validity period for the cash withdrawal instruction. You have to withdraw cash from any ATM with “JETCO Cardless Cash Withdrawal” service in Hong Kong or any one that supports “UnionPay QRC Withdrawal” service in Hong Kong, Macau or Mainland China by scanning the QR code within 60 minutes after the instruction is set up. Otherwise, the instruction will be cancelled.



10. Is there any limit for Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service?

The daily cardless cash withdrawal limit is HK$10,000 per card. This service is also subject to the daily cash withdrawal limit of the ATM card which is up to HK$20,000 per card and the upper limit of each transaction.



11. What withdrawal currencies does the service support?

You can withdraw HKD in Hong Kong via JETCO or UnionPay network. Besides, via UnionPay network, you can withdraw CNY in Mainland China, and withdraw HKD or MOP in Macau.



12. Can I set up more than one cash withdrawal instruction?

No. Only one instruction is allowed at a time. You can set up another instruction after the existing instruction is executed.



13. What should I do if no cash is dispensed or the transaction is rejected?

Please check the ATM message on screen, ATM receipt, mobile app message, messages delivered by the Bank, status of ATM cash dispensation and the account balance. Should you have any queries, please contact our bank staff or call our 24-hour Customer Services Hotline at 223 95559.



14. Does Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service support cash advance or cash withdrawal from an account bound to a credit card?

No. The service does not support credit card service at this stage.
