INTERNET PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT



1. The Bank's pledge. We strictly adhere to the requirements set out in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and other law in relation to visitors' and customers' information. In particular, we will follow the Data Protection Principles set out in Schedule 1 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.



2. Collection and use of visitors' information.

  (a) Recording your visit. When you visit this web site, we will mark the record of your visit. This information will be used by us only for the following purposes:

3. Protecting visitors' information.

  (a) Restriction on disclosure. We will not disclose information collected from you to any third party unless we have obtained your consent or are permitted or obliged to do so by law.

We only allow our authorized employees to have access to information collected from you to ensure that such information will not be used for unauthorized purpose, or be altered or erased accidentally. We also use encryption technology to protect transmission of your sensitive personal information.

  (c) Retention of information. We retain records of all on-line transactions for verification and checking purposes. When the information becomes unnecessary, we will destroy them.
