Intern (Fintech) – 6 months contract
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the banking industry jointly launched the Fintech Career Accelerator Scheme (FCAS) to nurture young talents for the industry, and provide participants with an opportunity to better prepare for future careers in the banking sector. Bank of Communications Co., Limited Hong Kong Branch is devoted to develop young and passionate talents for our business growth. The scheme targets at the student from local universities and will be offered six-month work opportunities and receive industry-specific training.
Job Responsibilities:

Conduct research and write reports on IT latest trends.

Participate in the operation and administration of the Innovative Lab.

Participate in FinTech application prototyping.
-
Participate in Proof-of-Concept activities and coordinate the evaluation process.
-
Formulate innovative proposals to senior management and bank executives.
-
Work as project assistant in cross-departmental workflow optimization projects.
-
Work with Shanghai headquarter development centres on several projects. Business trip to mainland may be necessary.

Receive necessary IT and business trainings.
We are looking for candidates who possess:

High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

Fast learner with good research skills and interested in new technologies.

Work proactively and presentable.

Good team player with strong problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge in Banking & Finance, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Mobile App Development, etc. is an advantage.

Production Management Manager (Information Technology)
Duties:
- Work closely with users and IT in supporting system roll out tasks such as coordinate user system health check for major changes

Work with internal teams and external vendor in IT outsourcing activities such as conduct regular review and assessment, follow up and liaise with relevant stakeholder, coordinate annual drill tests, assist in financial year end, etc.

Perform technology risk management assessment such as RCSA, KRI, etc.

Support in quality assurance activities such as perform review for change management, IT project, etc.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Business Administration, Computer or Information Technology

System Analyst
Duties:
- Participate in requirement study, systems design and analysis, system development and implementation

Work closely with users and vendors during system requirement analysis, design, development, implementation and testing of banking projects

Perform system health checking, monitoring and testing

Troubleshoot system issues and propose recommendations to resolve the issue
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5

Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in application development/ Data Platform project
-
Experience in Java-based Web Application, Vue.js, Node.js
-
Strong knowledge on SQL Server, Python, DB2, DataStage
-
Big Data development experience is preferred (e.g. Spark, Kafka, Flink, Hive)

Unix Shell scripting be able to come up with functions to support the file load and ETL process

Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Network Analytics experience is preferred but not a must
-
Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently

Administration Manager/ Assistant Administration Manager (Training Centre)
Duties:
- Responsible for the development, design, and maintenance of eLearning courses and related processes or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5;

Provide training administrative support such as course enrollment management, assistance in organizing seminars and events;

Maintain training database in an effective & systematic manner;
-
Handle education support schemes' applications;
-
Liaise and coordinate with external training institutes if required;
-
Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Business / IT or related disciplines, with minimum 1 year’s related working experience, preferably in sizeable organizations;

Detail-minded, reliable, well-organized and able to work under pressure;

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

Information Security Manager
Duties:

Develop and implement IT security control reviews and settings for banking systems to ensure appropriate controls are in place and in adherence to IT security policy and standards

Evaluate, identify and mitigate new IT security threats, and enhance the bank's IT security initiatives
-
Manage the implementation of IT security policies in IT infrastructure and systems, and assist in preparing information security audit
-
Review the security tasks in related to IT audit
Requirements:
-
Degree Holder in IT or related disciplines, with minimum 8 years’ working experience on system and/or network configuration. Holder of CISSP / CISM / CRISC / CISA certification with CCNP / CCDP is preferred

Hands-on experience in vulnerability scanning, patch and PID management is an asset
-
Strong understanding of Information Technology Risk Management and information security practices

Solid knowledge in firewall, router, switch, anti-spam, intrusion prevention / detection, VPN, Privilege ID and access control systems, Microsoft Windows and Linux system

Duties:

Manager, Treasury Transaction Settlement
Duties:

Responsible for trade verification and operation support of various treasury products

Assist in collateral management by preparing relevant reports, monitoring the status of margin calls and preparing collateral movement for certain products

Assist in transaction reporting according to regulatory requirement

Participate in systems development and testing when needed

Handle inquiries from front desk, counterparties and clients

Requirements:
