Management Trainee Programme (FinTech)

Requirements

The programme incorporates regular professional training sessions and comprehensive on-the-job training. During the training period, the trainee will be fully supported by a well-developed mentoring system and on-the-job coaching.

Intern (Fintech) – 6 months contract

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the banking industry jointly launched the Fintech Career Accelerator Scheme (FCAS) to nurture young talents for the industry, and provide participants with an opportunity to better prepare for future careers in the banking sector. Bank of Communications Co., Limited Hong Kong Branch is devoted to develop young and passionate talents for our business growth. The scheme targets at the student from local universities and will be offered six-month work opportunities and receive industry-specific training.

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

Production Management Manager (Information Technology)

• Work closely with users and IT in supporting system roll out tasks such as coordinate user system health check for major changes
• Work with internal teams and external vendor in IT outsourcing activities such as conduct regular review and assessment, follow up and liaise with relevant stakeholder, coordinate annual drill tests, assist in financial year end, etc.
• Perform technology risk management assessment such as RCSA, KRI, etc.
• Support in quality assurance activities such as perform review for change management, IT project, etc.

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Computer or Information Technology
• Minimum 5 years or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5
• Previously worked in banking / financial services will be an advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Well-organized, self-motivated and detail-minded
• Positive attitude, team player and willing to learn

System Analyst

• Participate in requirement study, systems design and analysis, system development and implementation
• Work closely with users and vendors during system requirement analysis, design, development, implementation and testing of banking projects
• Perform system health checking, monitoring and testing
• Troubleshoot system issues and propose recommendations to resolve the issue

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5
• Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in application development/ Data Platform project
• Experience in Java-based Web Application, Vue.js, Node.js 
• Strong knowledge on SQL Server, Python, DB2, DataStage
• Big Data development experience is preferred (e.g. Spark, Kafka, Flink, Hive)
• Unix Shell scripting be able to come up with functions to support the file load and ETL process
• Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Network Analytics experience is preferred but not a must
• Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently

Assistant Research and Development Manager (Financial Technology)

• Assist in developing new products or services related to Financial Technology (Fintech)
• Conduct customer and competitor analysis, market research and benchmarking
• Prepare proposal and participate in product, service and system development
• Involve in business process reengineering project as business analyst

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5. Holder of Six Sigma, ACIB/HKIB, CFA/CFP is a definite advantage
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience with solid business knowledge in banking industry, strong presentation, and with analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge in innovative/ advanced information technology is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Chinese

Assistant Manager, Loans Processing (Commercial/ Retail)

• Responsible for loan documents processing for Commercial/ Retail Facilities
• Liaise with other counterparts to ensure proper and efficient loans operations
• Set up credit line, maintain and update collaterals information in systems for Commercial/ Retail loans
• Review loan operation procedures and streamline workflows, participate in systems related upgrade as requested by team head

• Degree holder or above in any disciplines, or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5
• 3 years’ experience in loan processing or related operations
• In-depth knowledge of loan processing, procedures and relevant legal requirements
• Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently

Administration Manager/ Assistant Administration Manager (Training Centre)

• Responsible for the development, design, and maintenance of eLearning courses and related processes or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5;
• Provide training administrative support such as course enrollment management, assistance in organizing seminars and events;
• Maintain training database in an effective & systematic manner;
• Handle education support schemes' applications;
• Liaise and coordinate with external training institutes if required;
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

• Degree holder in Business / IT or related disciplines, with minimum 1 year’s related working experience, preferably in sizeable organizations;
• Detail-minded, reliable, well-organized and able to work under pressure;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• With knowledge in multi-media softwares (e.g. iSpring, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.) is preferred but not essential;
• ECF achievement is the definite advantage;
• Good command of both English and Chinese;
• Immediately available is preferred.

Senior Training Manager/ Training Manager

• Develop and deliver various training programs in response to training needs and staff development
• Source and recommend external consultants to provide skill-based training on sales, supervisory management and quality services, etc.
• Provide support and coordinate training projects

• Degree holder or above in Business Administration / Learning and Development / Human Resources /Finance or related discipline, or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5
• Minimum 3 years' related working experience, preferably in sizeable organizations;
• Sound knowledge of training needs analysis and program development
• ECF achievement is the definite advantage;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Immediately available is highly preferred
